Viva Las Vegas

Love it or hate, everyone has an opinion about Vegas and Vegas really has something for everyone. This was my 8th trip to the city and I must admit that I love Vegas. However it goes from fab to gag in a millisecond. This time around, I accompanied my mom and her friends for a 60th birthday trip. Vegas is a wonderful city for a mother daughter weekend. Prior to my arrival the group went to the Grand Canyon and saw Menopause The Musical.                3d74abee-6387-4dc6-bf1b-f39cc359b8a8

I’ve stayed at the Palms, Planet Hollywood, The Cosmopolitan, The Venetian and now the Wynn. They’re all in the same price range, depending on when you book. Our stay at the Wynn was immaculate. The hotel room was spacious. It took us two days to fully understand the automated keypad on the door; in that time we accidentally cancelled housekeeping. The restaurants are pricier than average for Vegas but convenience is everything and the food was good.

Transportation: It’s easiest to take a taxi or shuttle bus from the airport to your hotel. It’s best to have cash on hand to pay the taxi, as there’s a $3 service fee for credit cards

It will add about 5 minutes to your trip but it will save you a couple dollars to walk to the other side of the hotel and grab your ride.                                                       Average hotel-airport transfer $20-$25
